SXSW EDU

The SXSW EDU Conference & Festival is a chance for an engaged community to come together around education to cultivate and empower stakeholders to advance teaching and learning.  This year there was a record number of sessions submitted to be chosen to speak at the conference. ClassWallet is pleased to announce that CEO Jamie Rosenberg was among those chosen to speak at this esteemed education event.

Many school districts suffer from teacher shortage and retention issues.  Contributing to the problem is the inordinate amount of paperwork teachers must endure even for the most basic of needs.  This leads to a culture in which teachers don’t feel trusted and one that is not conducive to attracting and retaining Millennials.  ClassWallet CEO Jamie Rosenberg will be joined by esteemed educator Esther Worjcicki and Hazard Young Attea Associates President and former Illinois State Superintendent Max McGee addressing SxSW EDU on the importance of investing in teacher agency.
