From the CEO
August was a busy month for ClassWallet. We signed 3 more Florida school districts and a new district in California. We are excited to be working with the newly signed Chan Zuckerberg Initiative on some of the great programs they are doing with schools in Northern California. Some PTAs and nonprofit organizations have signed-on rounding out a diverse client mix joining us the last month of summer. We’ll be starting the new school year in over 850 schools and can’t wait to hit the ground running!
Polk County School District - Country's 30th Largest Signs with ClassWalletThe larger the district, the larger the administrative overhead costs associated with tracking decentralized purchasing processes (purchase orders, receipts, reimbursements, etc). Polk County School District, the country’s 30th largest school district, adopted ClassWallet to eliminate paper receipts and minimize those costs using the platform to streamline funding allocations to classroom teachers.
Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Leans on ClassWallet to Fund Class and School NeedsWanting to provide principals and teachers in Redwood City and Ravenswood school districts discretionary budgets to meet student needs, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative has partnered with ClassWallet to distribute funding across the two northern California districts. ClassWallet provides a better way to track the funds, easing the administrative burden that district and school administrators would otherwise have absorbed.
