From the CEO
As an annual Thanksgiving tradition, we ask our team to tell us what they are thankful for and share in our monthly newsletter. I will start…
I am thankful for the 25 minutes I get each morning driving my 11-year-old daughter to school. She DJs the playlist and bobs her head to the songs we play. Sometimes she rests her head on my arm. Occasionally when I look at her, the love, gratitude, and joy is so pure. One of the favorites we’ve been listening to lately is the Miley Cyrus cover of Pearl Jam’s Just Breathe. So I quote, “I’m a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love.”
We wish a happy and healthy Thanksgiving for you and those you hold dear.
What Our Team Is Thankful ForAnaLauren, Director, Operations I am grateful every day for life, health, family, friends. This year, I'm extremely grateful for opportunities - opportunities to challenge me and grow, opportunities to do more and do better with my time, opportunities to receive blessings, and be a blessing to others. Bryan, VP Sales I'm thankful for a healthy family. I'm thankful for being part of a company that has a great team culture. Carlos, Customer Success I'm thankful for my health. I'm also thankful for my family, the team I work with: it's great to have people that take the time to support you. Christie, Director, E-Commerce I am grateful for family, and friends, their well-being, and the love and support they give. I'm also thankful for growth, positive change, and moving forward in life. Claudia, Customer Success I am so thankful to have my family healthy and a great job during this hard time. David, CTO It is easy to get caught up in our daily activities, and it is easy to forget that we can only reach our respective "destinations" with the help and support of the people in our immediate circle. I am grateful for my family, friends, coworkers, teachers, coaches, mentors, bosses, and clients I have met along my path and their help in making me the person I am today. Devon, Customer Success I am thankful for my Work Team: they have been nothing but supportive and helpful since I started two months ago at ClassWallet! Edward, Director, Marketing I am thankful for the colors of red and blue - every day. I'm a bit colorblind (like many people), and much of what I see is a bit 'flat". But vibrant blues and reds bring the world alive to me. Gustavo, Customer Success During these troubling times, I'm just thankful for having a stable and happy job, a loving wife, health, and being alive. Johanna, Account Management I'm thankful for family, friends, health, and home in these uncertain times. Julius, Account Manager I am thankful for the opportunity to help so many educators save a little time in an already jam-packed schedule. I love that the work that I do is focused, not on a bottom line, but focused on helping teachers and families. Kathy, Customer Success Supervisor I am thankful for my family and for the support we provide to each other. Lyubomyr, Engineer To the new challenges which keep life interesting. Lydia, Sales During these uncertain times, I am most grateful for a support system of family and friends who ought to be. Sujey, Director, Customer Success There are so many things to be grateful for this year, but if I had to pick my top three, I'd go with family, new beginnings, and memories. 2020 has been a rough year for so many of us. I feel truly blessed with where we are and the things we have accomplished as a family this year. Teresa, Assistant Controller I am thankful for love and health. Love, because love brings me happiness. Everything that is made with love is made right and better. That joy of doing the things that I love and giving the love that I feel makes me happy, and therefore it makes me a productive person and a better employee. Health, because health lets me enjoy all the good things in life. With health, I can work, be there for my family and friends, go out to the beach, feel the ocean's breeze, see a beautiful sunset, play with my kids and hug my parents. What else could I ask from life? I am very thankful for all the little things in life that we take for granted but make us who we are. I am very thankful and fortunate to belong to the ClassWallet family! Willis, Vendor Accounts I am thankful for all the love and support that I receive from my friends and family, including everyone in this wonderful company.
ClassWallet addresses the pain of managing checks, reimbursements, paper receipts, and the paperwork associated with tracking expenditures for school systems. The platform makes the accounting and audit trail very easy and helps reduce administrative costs.
